I'm flexible in my beta-reading style. Depending on what you're looking for, I'll give you a general reaction, a detailed edit, suggestions, notes, etc.

Spell-checking. Dialogue. Word choice. Constructive feedback. Patience. Grammar.

I can be fast or I can be thorough. Very rarely can I be both.

I prefer happy endings. Most definitely.

I really don't like sudden death endings, especially when there's no foreshadowing or purpose. Most of the time, for me, it seems like a cop-out attempt to get a reaction from the reader.

I'll read it, but I'm not really a big fan of using cuss words in writing unless the character/situation clearly calls for it. I just think it's unnecessary. There's usually a better way to say things.
