PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING--YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DID.
I will review works in part or completely based on length. I give detailed reviews, say what I think you're doing wrong, what you may need to change, complete with examples, and of course, what I personally liked and didn't like. Due to the volume of the work that's submitted to me, and the detail of my reviews (which I will not compromise), some entries will be rejected. Namely, entries that are carelessly writen with several spelling errors or otherwise. You don't have to be the best writer, but I don't accept works that are clearly done lazily. I also ask that, with the beta request, you include the following message:
If you want me to beta something, simply e-mail me or send me a message. Although, I do ask that you include the story link, a brief synopsis, and why you chose me to beta your story. For those who aren't familiar with the writing buisness, giving a little effort usually means getting some in return. Like I said before, I have a large amount of beta-requests. Reviewing or commenting on my writing, and mentioning therein that you requested a beta will make you stand out, and increase your chances of being noticed, and also bump you up on the priority list. And it's good anyway to read other works, you could learn something.
If you're serious about writing, you should know that a manuscript can, and often will, be dismissed without a word being read. I'll help you get by the "preliminary steps" and take your writing to the next level.
