Will thoughts of a childhood in West Virginia, time in the Air Force in Nebraska, and numerous family deaths overwhelm the mind of a man who wants to change his past and himself.

So this is not a work of fiction. It's the true life story of a person I met and the experience I had with her. I'm sharing this so that you can keep this lady in your prayers, as she is struggling. She is a beautiful, amazing soul. But she needs the protection of whatever divinity is out there.

Cease the endless struggle and hold still. Let the roots break free from your skin, seeking nourishment, having received none within. The storm has arrived. Now cling to the rock you too shall become, as you tumble with the landslide.

A thought whispers I may be dying, but I am now beyond fear. Let me find rest, but, if nothing else... silence.
