A homegrown Southern hymn.

The poem expresses deep admiration and gratitude for someone special. The speaker thinks of this person first thing in the morning and last at night. They provide unwavering support, understanding without words, and remain by the speaker's side even in difficult times. This bond makes them truly special in an otherwise ordinary life.

A poem on how sometimes, propping up friendship in order to tear down romance makes it look like friendship isn't so important after all.

I cannot keep my friends... far enough away from me. And here comes another one.

Breathe. In, out. Two lungs, if you're lucky enough to have them both.

This poem was written in tribute to one of my favorite television trio's, Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond, who have all starred on the British series known as Top Gear, and later on the Grand Tour. I was inspired by their very last special; One for the Road, where their very first Top Gear special began; Botswana.

A poem I wrote in June 21'. I write poems when I feel too intensely and although I am not very good at either dealing with my problems or writing poems, I write to convey those feelings.

This is just one small fraction of what she sees when she looks at him.

Intimacy comes in many forms. In this case, two people have a common interest that not very many people share.

It's sort of a good metaphor for their friendship. It calms storms when the world gets too big. It was like that for them.
