A few years ago, the tea house/art venue/music venue that I called home, where many precious hours with my group of friends was spent, closed. It had been part of the local 'scene' and our regular spot, for years. It was a victim of the expanding corporate business. Demolished and replaced with a car lot. This is the poem I wrote and performed in remembrance of it.
