hey, i am also mormon and i just wanted to let you know that i really enjoyed your poem. i can relate to it so much. the ONLY line i wasnt really happy with is the one that says "sometimes its hard to be a good lds with all the rules and restrictions". i dont think of them as really "rules" or "restrictions" just simple guidelines that will make your life happier if they are followed. i also thought that this poem was more about what people where thinking about you then what you knew was right because you are following the commandments. on a parting note i want to mention AGAIN that i really did think your poem was great despite my feelings about that one line

I can defenately realate but the laws and rules and standards of our church don't hold restrictions and keep us captive but they set clear boundries and keep us free from heart ache and suffering which is far more binding and that can be avoided through choosing to follow the laws. YAY! i'm not alown in being a LDS! all the things i've seen with Mormon, have said that "if you are a mornon, you will get offended if you read this!" so i feel really sad... BUT NOW I'M NOT!yay go Mormons! I LOVE THIS POEM!

Very good question, but you make it sound like it is a pain. God gives us standards because it is for our good not because he wants to make life hard. In actuality when you follow the wishes of god you are making your abilities and choices in this life greater. I am not saying that is what you weren't trying to say, maybe I missed it, but good questions anyway. They are a good reminder on how we should be living.

I must admit that I can relate very well to this poem. It's so hard to remember to do all of the little things everyday. We'll all try harder and get a little better each day :)

I'm sure you're doing fine... HEy, I'm mormon too, i've made some awful mistakes but I know that God has forgiven me for them and that he will continue to love me no matter how many times i slip.

Just a thought, you don't have to listen to me if you don't want to ... but I would really like you to read this.

Having high standards and trying to do God's will is a good thing. Worrying all the time over whether you're acceptable isn't good. God doesn't want you to stress out about that kind of stuff. He loves you no matter what. That's the whole reason Jesus died ... He paid the price so that if you do mess up, you only have to ask for his forgiveness. All He requires is that you give yourself to Him.

I'm not Mormon, and so I don't know what your reaction to this review will be, but just think about it, okay?
