This is definitely one of the better things I've seen. I love the imagery, and how vivid the feeling of being "lost" is. I would definitely feel this way if my best friend committed suicide - the difference is that I'm often on the verge of it myself, and if my sole bond to the earth killed herself, I'd be gone before I could even write a poem. If this really happened to you, though, good for you for being strong and working through the grief. I admire you for it. :)

I've experienced that one before, and I can't think of any worse feeling in the world.
