| The Omniscient Bookseller chapter 11 . 9/21/2003
Bad Kia! Bad Lisa! *whacks* That is so evil...I'm not sure I want to know what's going to happen because it can't be good.
| Carleigh chapter 10 . 9/15/2003
I wouldn't normally read a story like this, but I just happened to click on it. Now I'm addicted. I can't wait for more. You are a talented writer and this has definitely changed many opinions about lesbians, gays, or transgenders, (since I am straight.) But I've become more open-minded. Thanks for the enlightenment! Hope to read the next chapter soon!

OMG! THAT's SO COOL! A transgender story! WQW!
I really love your story...it's very well written and plotted. Andd the cool/interesting thing is that for the past three weeks I've been debating about whether or not to post a transgender story of my own...I just never thought anyone else would ever conceive of a similar story let alone write one! I am so glad I looked at this story, and found out that I'm not the only one pondering such out-there things!
Thanx for the final straw of necesary inspiration, and look for my story that's to be posted [hopefully] soon! Please review it if ya do see it!
Keep writing and update soon!
| L Shepton chapter 1 . 9/4/2003
Haha my name has never looked this cool. Very unique romance, though the chivalry bit is cliche in an endearing way. Nice treatment of transexuals and their experience.
| Klap chapter 10 . 8/27/2003
I'm sugesting this to some of my friends, ok? Hehe...
| Klap chapter 3 . 8/27/2003
I saw a Jenny Jones show like this once. Except that the man wasnt transformed all the way, he had sex with his girlfriend, and THEN told her...it was tragic for both of them and she never let him...HER...him go near her again...very sad.

its nice that we are getting the back story here but what I really want is to hear finally what Lisa thinks about the whole thing.
| your name here chapter 10 . 8/15/2003
I'm so glad you updated this. I really think it's one of the best stories on the site.
| Nickchick chapter 10 . 8/15/2003
YAY! You updated this! I'm so excited, I really love this story. This chapter was good because it highlighted Shep's internal struggle, which I don't think the reader has gotten to see in depth until now. The only advice I really have is that I wish you would focus more on Lisa or on her and Shep's relationship. I feel like I know a lot about Kia, Paul, and Shep but most of my information about Lisa is second hand. But other than great, great work as usual :). You've inspired me to write more too!
| MyMy chapter 10 . 8/14/2003
"See, you've even got the insecure about your sexuality thing. You're such a man."
That had me laughing for a while. Great line. Really great line.
Great chapter actualy. I really like Paul. Very cool character.
That is all.
| powderyblue chapter 9 . 8/12/2003
WOW...didn't expect to find such a compelling, non-fetishizing or patronizing story dealing with these issues! I am especially intrigued with Kia's character; how ironic that she disdains Shep's in the way she would be treated by intolerant folk. But what I am especially impressed with is how true this story is. Keep working on it.
| Contentess chapter 9 . 6/14/2003
Great, great story. It is extremely well-written and has realistic characters and is very compelling. I can't wait for you to continue.
My one problem: Kia. Or, more specifically, Kia's characterization as a "goddamned feminis[t]." It seems to me that she is acting more out of hurt than out of reactionary feminism. Obviously, there are many feminists who are either allies to or a part of trans politics, and I was a bit troubled by what seemed to me like the vilification of feminism. However, that's a small quibble. Overall, this is a terrific story.
