I wouldn't normally read a story like this, but I just happened to click on it. Now I'm addicted. I can't wait for more. You are a talented writer and this has definitely changed many opinions about lesbians, gays, or transgenders, (since I am straight.) But I've become more open-minded. Thanks for the enlightenment! I really love your story...it's very well written and plotted. Andd the cool/interesting thing is that for the past three weeks I've been debating about whether or not to post a transgender story of my own...I just never thought anyone else would ever conceive of a similar story let alone write one! I am so glad I looked at this story, and found out that I'm not the only one pondering such out-there things!

I saw a Jenny Jones show like this once. Except that the man wasnt transformed all the way, he had sex with his girlfriend, and THEN told her...it was tragic for both of them and she never let him...HER...him go near her again...very sad.

YAY! You updated this! I'm so excited, I really love this story. This chapter was good because it highlighted Shep's internal struggle, which I don't think the reader has gotten to see in depth until now. The only advice I really have is that I wish you would focus more on Lisa or on her and Shep's relationship. I feel like I know a lot about Kia, Paul, and Shep but most of my information about Lisa is second hand. But other than great, great work as usual :). You've inspired me to write more too!

WOW...didn't expect to find such a compelling, non-fetishizing or patronizing story dealing with these issues! I am especially intrigued with Kia's character; how ironic that she disdains Shep's in the way she would be treated by intolerant folk. But what I am especially impressed with is how true this story is. Keep working on it.

My one problem: Kia. Or, more specifically, Kia's characterization as a "goddamned feminis[t]." It seems to me that she is acting more out of hurt than out of reactionary feminism. Obviously, there are many feminists who are either allies to or a part of trans politics, and I was a bit troubled by what seemed to me like the vilification of feminism. However, that's a small quibble. Overall, this is a terrific story.
