Huh? I don't get it.

I've noticed that in stories where a girl meets a boy, they pretty much always meet by freaking crashin' into eachother. It's always Love at First Sight. And the girl ALWAYS blushes.

Now, I have never crashed into a boy. I've nearly tripped over them and I've tackled and been tackled by them, but never crashed into one. Well, during the legendary War of the Park, maybe, but-

Er, long story, I might tell it some other day. Now, back to the subject at hand...

When someone has a crush on someone, it's either Love at First Sight, or something like an acquired taste - a person who you've known of for awhile, you aren't necessarily friends, you just know the face and the name, and you suddenly realize how cute they are. Heck, it can even happen like that with an enemy or someone annoying. You don't see those types of crush in a story often.

Lastly, I've had a few random crushes here and there, and at no point did I desire to actually SHOW that I had a crush. No excess embarrasment around that person, no extra-talkativeness, not a single thing abnormal. No blushing. Just normal ol' me. But I guess that wasn't really relevant. Sorry about my little rant there - once I get writing, I can't stop.
