It's a bit over the top in the angst departement. I don't mean that it should be happier. No, just perhaps a little less stereotypical Not bad. It has it's good moments, but the depression isn't very convincing. Also... it seems to be moving on a bit too quickly. It maybe would seem more realistic if we had some more background (Not just info, you need a better beginning), and more character interaction before getting to this ? Rain is always used to describe depression. Not very creative. The frogs were pushing it. Rabbits.. what? Birds.. okay. But frogs? Frogs are kind of.. froggish. Don't use a word like "frog" to portray a sense of sadness- it doesn't work. I'm sorry that you feel like this all the time. I'm not usually very happy myself. But this wasn't.. oh, I don't know. I'll shut up now.

Just thought I'd let you know it made no sense to me that in an earlier chapter there is a reference to how his parents /don't/ know that he's gay and now in here you say that they found out that morning...

such a great story! ohmigod i luff ur stories theyre so touching since ive actually gone through stuff like this with mi friends and miself finding out that i waz bi n telling mi best friend i waz and all the drama that followed ty keep writing!

did you really have to do that? i was crying for the whole story! T.T poor aki...and rikki too. some of it was a little to dramitic, but i liked it very much. and i like the fact you didnt put in any details of the people. its like this way, you can make them up your self. T.T so sad. i gotta go know, time for bed. bye.

The story, though moving slightly fast, was very good overall. The characters were captivating, and I believe my favorite was Rikki. Surprisingly, I grew to love Valen... I can't wait to read "Second Chances."

One question, love... where the f*ck did Rikki pull those rings from? ; Not that I minded. I almost died, it was so sweet. I love them all... 'specially Rikki.
