sounds like where i live... amish all around... and i have amish tv...this towns so boring unless your scoring! great job!

Wow, you don't live in North Collins do you?
Seriously... there's not even one line in this poem that doesn't apply to the town where I grew up. I was surrounded by woods, got snowed in all winter every winter, lived down the street from cows and grapes, and had no cable. The people there were usually petty (although when it really mattered they would pull together).
Now I live in San Antonio. Everything I could ever want is pretty much at arm's length.
The boredom of a small town growing up will give you great perspective someday in addition to helping your creativity... as my brothers and I used to say, "we make our own fun."
Cute, silly poem. Hang in there :)
