This is lovely, I had no idea you had written anything like this. I really do see what you mean by it, especially the part about the mirror reflecting the shell and not the soul, as I once saw a ghost in a mirror when there was nothing in the room. It makes you wonder...

This is very well written. It has some great imagery in it. It is one of the best poems I have read in a long time.
