Reviews for Linkage |

![]() ![]() ![]() ops hadnt noticed the bio part with the saying that this story is discontinued *caugh* oh well... as long as you never stop writting guardian cuz that would just be cruel |
![]() ![]() ![]() Huh why havent you updated in forever is this story discontinued? damn i new i should have checked the date b4 reading the fic now im hooked *sniff sniff* pwease update this fic is great maybe not as much as guardian yet but it just started and i love the characters!~~ |
![]() ![]() ![]() This chapter was even better than the last one. I'm starting to get used to the names, and we get to learn about the linking process (I think I'd rather not have the linker gene if it meant my parents got killed :p) The Linking ceremony during the wedding was cool, along with all the other information on the Linkers themselves (Like the wedding thing.) And the 'tweed' scene at the beginning was funny, too. Great work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() There was only two things I didn't like about this chapter. Firstly, the names of the main characters (Fitz and Thatz. They just seem like odd choices...) but I liked their personality, which I suppose it what's more important (Mon was also cool!) The other thing that kind of bugged me was the way the paragraphes were seperated (With *) but that's just something small. Good first chapter, I'll definetely read more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was very short, but interesting, and it convinced me to go on to the next chapter and keep reading. So it's good |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry sorry sorry! It's taken me way too long to review the latest chapter: I think I meant to but got distracted or something. Yeah, that sounds like me. _' The introduction of a third Linker- and the plot thickens further. The arm breaking scene made me a bit sorry for Henna... but not that sorry. Mon's nice when she's not complaining about being a Linker. - There was one sentence though, that interested me the most. A sentence that I mechnically zeroed in on: "Linkgun's were only useful against demons or the Linked." Now maybe that fact has been mentioned in a previous chapter, but I find that sentence VERY interesting. Must... restrain... analysis psycho mode... Before I completely transform and fill your reviews page with all kinds of weird thoughts, I'll quickly say this: this was a good chapter of Linkage. Not mega brilliant, but not bad or average either. As usual, I can't wait for the next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh...creepy... come home after a BAD day at school, no one's home, get on, find 2 author alerts. What a nice way to calm down and keep from throttling some1 myself. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yo! *grin* We've both got the internet back now! My comp got infected with the infamous Blaster Worm so I was down a bit but then we got it fixed! Yay! Whaddayamean? This chapter WAS NOT boring! I loved it! It was possibly the best (for me, anyway -) that you've writin on Linkage. In some weird way I actualy like Drachma. That's strange as it's coming from a person who doesn't even like using bug spray. *grin* Y'know, a Drachma used to be the main currency of Greece before we got the euro. Roughly five hundred of them equals one pound. Just thought u'd like to know! Um...what else can I waste everybody's time saying? Three main things happened in my life recently: one of my dogs had puppies, my comp got infected with a virus that our antivirus didn't stop, and my great gradmother died yesterday. Life's weird sometimes. Ah wel. I'm still cross about gettin only 60 out of 100 on the guardian test. -_- but if you made one on how much you know about Rettin, I woulda come first! *megagrin* Yesterday I wrote a poem. Wow. I actually found relevent rhymes. A miracle. I wrote it when I was in a bad mood, so it's turned out a bit...strange...but oh well. What can you do? I've been playing FFIX for the fourth time and I've FINALLY found ALL the Chocographs, got a *lot* of cards, and Zidane's lv. 83. *sigh* I LOVE FFIX! I can't stop playing it! Anyway. This chapter was great, good intro to Drachma's personality, and some hints about his past. _ Poor guy... Geia! Allie. |
![]() ![]() ![]() good, jus hope you get out the next chap soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() you may not be good at this but its GREAT! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I said I would review when the next chapter went up, and here I am! Linkage is one of those complex stories that just gushes theme from every pore. Every single thing just begs to be analysed: every sentence feels like it has a hidden meaning. It all screams: "WHY?" (in a good way of course) Unfortunatly, the greatest strength of Linkage also threatens to be its ultimate downfall. If explainations feel too simplistic or feel like they STILL have a hidden meaning, they run the risk of not satisifying the reader. Of course, this might just be my crazy head talking. Sometimes I forget Occam's Razor: the most simple explaination is most probably the correct one. Chapter 6 highlighted something- I don't want to call it a problem (because it might not be), but it's something I want to shed a spotlight on. It's to do with Drachma, the second Linker to be introduced. If he's supposed to be keeping Mon in line, you would think that he's a more devoted, loyal Linker. But chapter 6 shows that he has a reluctant attitude that is strikingly similar to Mon's. Yet he is not under the microscope of the Council. This brings up some questions: 1) Is Mon really as rebellious as the Linker Council believe? So far in the story, she hasn't broken any of the Linker Rules or refused to do any of the Linker duties. Unless one of the Linker Rules forbids being unhappy about your role as a Linker. Why is Mon such a threat? 2) Is this the attitude of most Linkers? How many more are unhappy about things they have been forced to do, but carry out Linker duties anyway? 3) When are we going to see "The Perfect Linker" who is the antithesis of Mon (and apparantly Drachma)? Is there such a person? 4) What happens to Linkers who break the rules anyway? Hmm... this makes me wonder what Drachma will do when he meets Mon. Pretend to love her in order to obey the Linker Rules? Openly show his reluctance and disgust? It's an interesting situation. And one that I'll be paying close attention to in the next chapter! - Redkun - |
![]() ![]() ![]() I reread Guardianin 2 days, get to ch.45 and recieve an author alert. How's THAT for timing(not to mention good luck)? You're right: A bit boring, but otherwise excellent. I don't think she's going to like her new husband much... and he's in for a WILD ride! |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMG! You posted more Linkage and didn't let me know! Darn it! Well, all copied down, i'm gonna read and review again later. I love this story... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just realized that ALL your chapters are short. I guess it does'nt matter as long as you update often. Anyway I think this story is really good. It's a bit more serious than guradian and I feel that there more...human. This story is a bit more seriious than Guradian but it's just the way I like it. Anyway keep writing. ~Eclairis |

Pliz pliz pliz write more long forgotten, my life is based on that. Lets just say I'm a Guardian junkie. Skool should be burnt down and eaten! history books should be history! RE books go to heaven!
