i feel really sorry for mike but i have to admit,this story was magnificent...all the characters were so tragic and i may sound weird but i really like that to stories...the way you write is really plot phenomenal and overall,i think this story is really worth watching for people who like this genre

This story was incredible. Very poignant and, of course, very sad, as well. I read the first few chapters late last night and just finished up today. It was a quick read, engrossing, and very well-written. I see you haven't updated the second volume in the trilogy recently,but I hope you follow through. This was just very good quality work. Keep writing.

It's so sad. Specially the part when Nick died. He was like Mike's only friend. When Mike closed up to his brothers, I can feel their pain. This whole story is very well-written, it kept me engrossed. The ending kinda threw me off, but this is still a good story. And I hope uncle Ron die.

I want to read the sequel, but you left it discontinued since 7 years ago. I hope you write more, but maybe it just a wishful thinking... You probably won't even read this anyway.

This story was so good.

I loved the characters, and I just loved the whole thing. Mike's thoughts, the way you wrote them...I have to say this made me cry properly once (as in, tears rolling down my face) and tear up a few times.

I got so attached to the characters in the process, and I really want to start on the sequel but...you haven't updated in forever...

chris - his job...that gets him so much money...he could be doing anything, and eventhough im probably wrong, when i first heard about his job, and heard that nicks mother had a 'toy boy' round and how she looked at them at the funeral, she was mist likely looking at mike but i automatically thought she was looking at chris...i thought he was a prostitute. i know thats gonna be way off the mark, but that was my guess. i love chris, i feel so genuinly bad for him - feeling like hes second to steven for mike.

i cant believeand steven, bless him so much!

i love how you wrote this...mikes father speaking to him was so much more effective than almost everything else ive read, and the 'help' aspect was genius. it made me want to scream at my computer until my throat bled, stop telling him youll help him! and not until the penultimate chapter did anyone suss that out, it was so frustrating to read because i thought that they were going too on so many occasions!

you said this is the first in a trilogy, and looking desperatly for the next i see three chapters of the sequel that i am desperate to read and yet also scared too because if youve not updated since 2005 then its going to leave me so frustrated and in suspence when i want to read more and follow your characters because i love them.

you are genuinly such a good writer, ive cried multiple times during this and for me, that is the best compliment i oculd give you because that means that youve effected y emotions so much i cried - i hope that makes you happy :) because it made me happy to have ofund a story so good.

This story was well written! It made me tear up. The ending was sad, after all they've been through, but understandable.

no words can describe how amazing this story is, albeit kinda depressing. i really want to know more about chris and steven though. and i also want to know how mike is coping up with all this crap. urgh. you got me way hooked to this story than i could've ever imagined, and now i won't be able to forget about this story.

Hands down, this is one of my top 5 favorite stories on fictionpress.

simply BRILLIANT.
