And...well. That certainly didn't turn out the way I expected.

I wanted Talanion and Nefertarin to reconcile, but somehow I thought I would feel more joy when it actually happened. Instead, there's a deep bitterness, and the knowledge of what this has cost them as well as what it's brought them. Maybe it's just because I know the story doesn't have a happy ending, but it almost sucks all the happiness out.

And I'm glad that Nefertarin stood up for herself. I've never liked heroines who were heroines because they just lay around and took everything that happened to them, and Nefertarin's (as I thought, inevitable) transformation into one was driving me nuts. And I'm glad she can be partially free of the Void.

A few nitpicks:

"more fluent than any tattoo": I'm really not sure what you're saying here. Fluent usually means able to speak a language well.

"taken residence between them": Odd, just because it sounds like the chasm has set up housekeeping.

And one question:

Why *did* Nefertarin give up on Aurion and agree to bond with Talanion, if she truly loves Aurion? Obviously she's tired of him pushing her around, but Talanion did the same thing- and more so!- and she's still interested in him. Was her love for Aurion less sexual, perhaps?

Aww. _ Odd though it may seem to some, this is the type of romance I enjoy reading about. A devoted couple whose unpredictable love for each other appears to overcome all obstacles - I saw that in Nefertarin and Talanion more clearly than ever in this most recent chapter.

Although, I must say that my favourite part was Nefertarin's little rebellion. Not necessarily in the physical counterattack against her brother, but in her sudden decision to stand up for her own desires. It seemed like selfishness at first; now that I think about it carefully, it's more like retribution for the years of innocence and 'naive contentment' (if you will) that she was never allowed to enjoy. As a character, she's earned a bit more of my respect. I'm proud of her. _

Only one nit-picky comment: the very last word in the chapter should be 'leaves' rather than 'leafs'. Not a glaringly obvious error, of course, but being the last word makes it more noticable.

Otherwise, everything is beautiful. Wonderful chapter; I was hoping for a reconciliation between brother and sister. I only worry that everything is going fall apart soon . . . .

FINALLY Nefertarin stands up for herself! And yet her anger was short lived; she's such a compassionate woman that she couldn't stay angry with her borhter for long. I just wish she'd made her brother suffer a little bit more of her wrath, for I think he more than deserves it for being so cruel to her-especially just after she emerges from the Void for his sake!

But it also seems that Talanion is not always in control of his own mind. Something else is causing these frequent episodes of rage...I wonder who, or what, is causing them...

Perhaps he's angry at himself?

By the way, I find Nefertarin to be quite the masochist: she willingly allows herself to be branded in the wrists? This woman's got to get it together!

Whoo! Love conquers all! Glad that after a brief internal struggle, Nef decides to 'climb back' to consciousness, so to speak.

And you HAD to add the last part in didn't you. Too much happiness in one chapter? ;p heh heh

And jealousy rears its ugly head once more. Tal the jealous git is prob going to get himself drunk, lash out at Aurion and hurt Nef all over again. I think. But I sure hope not!

OUTSTANDING! Wo Ho! Nestus Definitely got what he deserved...(I'm feeling a little bloodthirsty today can you tell). This was one of the most intense scenes you have painted for your readers yet...Loved it!

i...i really don't know what to say, except that I loved this chapter, and i've read up to 70 at this point but don't have time now to review them all and this chapter was WONDERFUL!

Again, possibly a bit heavy on the exposition, and while it sort of fits, it still seems a bit out of place. I'm not entirely sure if this ritual shouldn't have been mentionned before, because at the moment it seems just a little bit pulled out of nowhere. A convenient excuse to explain some things that really needed no explaination.

But, again, this is largely a style issue.

Not bad. Nice to finally see some evidence of the Sagate being psychos.

Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while, I've had terrible trouble moving and stuff.

I haven't been here to review in a while, but I will tell you it is not due to lack of reading. These are so well done, and the story is moving along very well.

You have answered many of the questions that I had regarding this story, yet you have left enough mystery about upcoming events that this is still intriguing. I will definintely be following this through until the end!

And once I am finished I will be sure to move on to some of your other stories as well! Well Done Werecat!

This is getting really creepily good!

I am impressed by your large cast of charecters, that you can keep them all straight while making them all very human. They all have their own passions and faults, and each because of their set are very unique one from the other.

I am very much enjoying this story despite the Sibling twist you have going on. I am able to see beyond that physical hinderance to see a greater story.

Well done and I will definitely be reading more!
