You described that perfectly, how someone pretends to be nice, builds up your trust, and then suddenly...everything goes so terribly wrong... "Could I be whole again? Here, by the side of the road." I'm in tears, Faithless Juliet, a pool of fresh tears. Unfortunately, I can relate to this poem more than you know, and I'm so sorry for you and for myself for experiencing something like rape, but you know what? | Thoughtful Silence chapter 1 . 4/9/2008 Well, in my random cruising of FP I kinda stumbled upon this and though it was written AGES ago I just had to say... fuckin' hell this was... powerful stuff. Something so tragic masked by beautiful words- the sheer emotional hurt conveyed in the first line and the child-like vulnerability of the last line was... well... heartbreaking. -Thoughtful Silence. |
