A very exquisite poem! Edmund Spenser would be pleased! This has a lot of imagery-it flows well and has a gentle rhythm to it. Also, I find it 'flowery', which is a good thing. Your poetry is beautiful. One last thing-it's nice to find someone else, besides myself, who believes in the Fair Folk. Don't laugh, but I also believe in other creatures like banshees, nuckelavees, Black Annis, and others. I have seen a banshee before, back home in Scotland on the Isle of Skye. Keep up the good work!

Do you know what? I sat here and tried very hard to remember whether a few of the lines in this were directly stolen from some Shakespeare ... that's how well-written it is. You have a serious skill for rhyming naturally and without it appearing forced; I think that's what impressed me most. Lovely poem. Yeah, I used to be a fan of Mab too ... I kinda didn't want to review, after having read your bio. It would have been interesting to be woken up one night by a poetry-sprouting Californian. Ah well, never mind.
