It's hilariously funny, and your description of the english mannerisms and language is really well-done! Why does this have to be another great story on fictionpress that just suddenly stops, at the perfect moment when it's built up momentum and promises to be a great read? *frustrated* Oh, well. I'm sad you didn't continue writing this, but it shows your talent as a writer, and I hope you've done well in whatever direction you've decided to take your life. Thanks. |

| Tessandra chapter 10 . 7/8/2004 Loved it. You have a really great story here - I love the banter between the two main characters. And Ellie's little secret made me laugh. Only - like some of the other reviewers said - I don't get the public school thing, how you said it was hypocritical that she went there and is now left-wing? Guess we just have a different system over here. (Lol - my favorite line was in the first chapter and Ellie decided not to emigrate to the US cause "they've got Bush." _. I wouldn't go either) Can't wait for more, especially if Ellie and Ed realize they like each other. And I really like Jackie, too. She's hysterical! ~Tessandra |

The characters are great; I love how none of them are one-dimensional, cliched people. Pat's awesome, and I love Ed! Ellie's a great, vibrant character, and Jackie's just plain cool.
