Well, here's the best "well rounded critique" I can honestly make...

This is an engrossing, and highly addictive piece of fiction, which in my opinion, is down to the author's creative ability with language.

Details are clearly the biggest asset to this story, and the character description is particularly strong. However, the problem with such intricate detail, the "nature of the beast" if you will, is that it has to be consistent, and not "over detailed." There is one example where the continuity may be in questio; when Ellie mentions during the interview that Ed's house renovation is no secret, but later asks why he isn't at his own house in Mayfair. Also, i find the excessive referrences to alcohol are detrimental to the overall character profile.

Aside from the description, the main strength of this piece is the inner conflict Ed experiences. This is well written, and contrasts beautifully with the rest of the action.

This story appears to cross the boundaries between reality and fiction, an incredibly hard thing to do effectively, and while there are some inaccuracies concerning the legal process and awkward referrences to Princess Diana, the writer manages to avoid many of the pitfalls that this challenge may present.

Overall, this is a well organised, and enthralling piece of work which I very much enjoyed reading. I can't wait for the next installment.

Oh yay! This made my day and I'm not joking. I was very excited to see an update (not a dig at you) and I wasn't disappointed in this chapter. I didn't even have to reread Ch. 6 to fall back into it. Cheers!

Been waiting for this chapter forever! I'm dead serious! Anyways, great chapter though it's a little complicated to understand the legal terms in England since I live in the States...but it's not that hard to figure out and I'll deal. Well, it was awesome to finally read some new stuff from this story again and I can't wait for some more. By the way, I love the bickering between Ellie and Ed...it's so cute!

This is GREAT! I love it so far. The characters are all so real and vivid and being American, I think British things are so cool. I am really looking forward to reading more of this. The plot flows so well and everything seems to fit naturally. I didn't hit any spots where I thought to myself "Right, like that would happen." Please write more soon!

The princess is definitely not my favorite character. She's coming off as the typical annoying twit.. the ones I love to despise.

I like how Eddie is now second guessing himself, his relationships and so forth. Shows that Ellie's getting to the better of him.

Roommates, both single right? Sounds like a possible double date.. ;)
