Oh you have to contiue this! I'm so far in this story its unreal! This isnt the genre i usually read but of the little supsense and horror literature i've read, this is definately the best. This is astoundingly well written, you drew me more and more in, epecially from the third chapter when the last sentence was 'well, you couldnt really expect more around that ball gag, could you?'- i thought that was absolute genius, great technique, that scene was relatively normal and apart from the hints about his problems, there was nothing in the present to confirm his problems, until that line that immediately made me do a doubletake and re-read. Then the way you built it up from there was great and i was dying to know what was wrong with him.

And Stephens character himself is genius, his obession with butterflies and the way everything stemmed from there, he's a very well developed character and you've really gone into his psyche he's such a realistic sociopath, and you really conveyed that well through his actions, for instance all the little things that just hint at someone psychologically unsound like his satisfaction at handeling all of his candid photos in front of Mina at his office. I do wonder how you managed to come with him and how the butterfly idea came into play? Some of his thougths and actions are so perverse and quite chilling! The suspense up until he captured her was killing me! Everytime she was near him i was afraid he was going to take her. And thats another thing, everything in this, especially the way he kinaps and all of the little things he has done to conceal the evidence is so realistic, you'v really made it it real.

I'm loving Mina at the moment as well, she such a strong but realistic character not even breaking down or acting hysterically and im hoping it doesnt happen before she hopefully gets away somehow. And im so happy that everything is coming to light now, i think theres too much against him for him to get away with it, although i honestly cant predict what i think you'll do, i think he'll definately be found out by the police but i dont know what he'll do to Mina or himself when that happens.

Just one thing i noticed: in the chapter when Axel asks one of Mina's neighbours if he's seen her he says he hasn't heard the 'teevee' in a while, when it should be 'T.V', i dont know whether you were trying to conveying, but i dont think it worked. Also i think in the same chapter, when Dominic beats Axel up, Axels name is written as 'Alex' several times.

I cannot stress how godd i think this is, its a book that you can really see playing out in your head as well, i think this would make a great film (as much as im usually against turning boks into films.) You should definately consider trying to get this published when it finished, i can definately see it becoming sucessful.

Please update this! The suspense is killing me, why stop here. This story is really good and I can't believe that you are able to put a twist and change characters so well. Alot of writers/authors have the same undercurrent in their stories but, I've read 3 of yours so far and they all vastly different. Events are character reactions are actually believable. Some people just make their charcters too strong willed or weak to the point of annoyance, but she's spot on. I know I'm a shy person & I have had the same thoughts and reactions as she does. I even distance myself from people the same way, I hope I don't get a stalker. That maid is a crazy freaking Loon! I can't figure out how she got into this and she's okay with it, nuts. All of them.

I do like this story but it seems almost too much like the Butterfly Collector. If you have not read nor seen it, you should. It's very much like this.

holy cow, i just got the connection to Animotion's Obsession. i feel like an idiot 'cause i've read this story before and the song came on more than once and i totally didn't get it. but i really like the story - it's well written and consistent with both plot and characters - and i hope you eventually update!

So sad this hasn't been updated :( But I'm glad to see this was turning in a good direction...I think a little stockholm in this story would have made me sick, especially since Mina is such a strong character. Well written and unique, especially with the butterfly thing. Hope you update!
