if this is your hope of a perfect date I hate to spoil it but the perfect date is never a firts date. It occurs after people have been seeing eachother for a while and are already comfortable. The first date is the one frought with heavy silences and an uneasy consciousness

i had to read this. i just uploaded something i wrote called "my first date offended my cat" and it was about my first date and how it wasnt so great. i hope your first date goes better than mine. :)
