Isn't Hephaestus Aphrodite's original husband and she committed adultery with Ares(or I could be wrong, I haven't read Greek myths in a long time)?

Btw, you have a nice concept (greek gods in the modern world. And Eros is geeky? (so far Cupid is either a baby or a man like in Hercules and Xena) Where did you get the idea to portray him as a bumbling teen? I'm interested in what Aphrodite thinks of her son. After all it is not everday that you find out that the goddess of love has a not-so-perfect offspring.
