|Reviews for alive inside|
| pieces chapter 1 . 9/4/2004
Reading this, I felt like I was back in some late sixties montage, where everybody sat around snapping their fingers in unison with little black hats on their heads and bongos playing in the background.
... For some reason, I felt you should know that, but anyway ...
I really adore this. It reads partway like a song, partway like a stream-of-consciousness piece, and partway like ... what it is (which is something I won't try to define for the sake of both our sane minds). I especially love the line "i'm buried alive inside". And whether you intended this or not: The complete un-use of capitals and such did something to this piece to make it feel ... more winding onto itself. Does that make sense?
Guh. Whatever. This is amazing, and I love it, and you should never, ever stop writing. But you already knew that.

That was a great poem! I liked your wording a lot. And the rhythm was very good too.
(P.S.- SWT after Allah means "be He glorified and exalted. so basically it's saying "God, be He glorified and exalted"
Sorry I had to write this in a review, but there was no e-mail for you)
