There's child exploitation not only in sweatshops but also in mines, and in poorer countries, on the streets.

A powerful poem. Sad to say that this sort of exploitation still exists to this day, worldwide. All we can do is stand strong, and work to end this corruption that plagues ALL societies, for us and for our progeny. Keep on writin...

Yes, forcing children to work is plain corrupted. Everyone should have equal freedom.

I don't think this really belongs in Haiku (or it's just a kind of haiku I've never seen before- forgive my ignorance if that's the case)- maybe in poetry/politics. It's a brilliant poem though. Very mournful and moving.

The restrictions are self made otherwise it would be free verse.
Good point. I belive it is wrong to benefit from other peoples suffering. In feudal Japan Merchants were the lowest class even if they were rich because they got rich off of other peoples work. Well put.
