| lainxauber chapter 1 . 7/2/2003
So true...I'll never be able to trust the world like I did when I was little; thinking the people I love will always be right where I need them, that good is always beautiful and bad is always ugly, that everything is black and white and distinguishable by first glance. Now I know nothing is the way it seems, and it can make things a bit depressing at times. Life isn't a Disney movie, and I'll never be able to let go of that knowledge again. I guess that's why adolesence is such a hard time; we're learning a lot of things that we'd be happier not knowing.
