![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful...simply beautiful... |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is powerful. I don't know much about the Hindu faith, but I think i might do a bit of research on Kali now! I like the idea of a slightly feminist godess (to put it in horribly western terms). Thanks! |
![]() ![]() ![]() By the Goddess Herself this poem is brilliant. You perfectly capture the Divine Mother, Her power and Her dual nature, both as the nurturing mother and terrible devourer. Wonderful imagery, perfectly utilizing Her most common symbols. I loved your treatment of the subject and manner of writing. Keep it up! Namaste! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Finally! Something about Hindu theology in this section. And not only is it something, it's something good! *g* Well done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing. You convey the power of the Goddess so beautifully. This is definitely going on my Favorite Stories list. ~Bright Blessings~ |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like this poem very much. I've always had a fascination with Kali and I even have quite a bit of jewelry with her image on it. I like the images you present and the intense feeling of the poem. Don't laugh, but I even have dreams, dark ones, about Kali (Kali-Ma, Kali-Yuga, the Dark Mother). They are extremely intense, vivid, and I remember every one of them. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble or scare you. Anyway, keep up the great work. Merry meet and merry part. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Namaste, Your poem was beautifully written, it draws her image in your mind, I thank you ,for this is more of a tributation to her, she would be pleased. Namaste ~Gauri Devi~ |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was really cool. She sounds cool in a morbidly interesting way. I like it a lot. ~Cirien Phoenix of the Eternal Phlame |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice description. I really like it, your style is awesome. |
![]() ![]() ![]() oh, very cool! it's quite lovely, acutally. i like it alot! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don't think Basil got it. But I liked it. Very descriptive, very good (if somewhat gory) imagery. True to the deity in question, I think. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, that's morbid. Sorry, I don't have much knowledge of the Hindu religion. Was it suppose to rhyme or just be free words? Either way is okay. -Basil |
