This story's pretty awesome. I feel sorry for Malcolm. Kid's life sucks more and more every day.

I don't think Malcolm's mom has any right to have custody of him. She is a terrible woman. Poor Malcolm, having to deal with all the crazy people in his life. And Octavia! What a bitch! I can't believe she cheated on Malcolm, but I guess Malcolm is not Mr. Innocent himself. Can't wait for the next chapter! You're a terrific writer!

All right! Review time. First off, Malcolm's mother is a douche and I (much like Malcolm) refuse to forgive her. I would totally back Malcolm up for bitching out his mom all night. Also, I think Malcolm was pretty nice to Derek considering how much Malcolm really doesn't like him. All the same, Derek wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be. I was expecting some flamboyantly gay man to be all, "Oh goodness, Malcolm! You're soo handsome and grown up! I'm sure all the ladies want you." (Lisp included.)(Ok, I'm done bashing people _~ )... "Was she implying that she had something for me to eat?" -I laughed when I read that. Really funny. I can just imagine a guy thinking that. Actually, I know guys think that...(I've got very vocal male friends.) Anyway, moving on...Malcolm really seems to attract a lot of people. Kendelee included. It's kind of sad that he never called her. I would have. I mean, hell, if I was that attracted to her I would have forgotten about Octavia and gone for it. ...You know, I still don't understand Jon and Malcolm's relationship. It's so...distant. They're just so simple in what they say. It's like "Hey." "Hey." "Well, bye." "Bye." I'm not complaining, it's just an interesting relationship for Malcolm to cherish so much...Hmm. Malcolm really shouldn't have talked to Octavia. Whether or not she meant to hook up with Nathan, my confidence in her strength to push him away is definately lacking. So whether or not she means to hurt Malcolm the first time, who's to say she won't do it again. Malcolm's so whipped it's almost cute. ...Keep writing...Jess

When I read this I can't help but try to imagine what makes Malcolm so attractive to all these women? I wish I had a picture or something. I couldn't help but like Derek. I liked how he didn't try to rekindle some sort of biological father/son bond. And yeah, I love much we can hate our mothers sometimes and then when they say "I love you," we still say "I love you too" back, cause Malcom's right. They're still our moms. Brilliant as always. You're my fave!

Wow, Malcolm is such a doormat when it comes to Octavia.

His biological father sucks! Man, that's so horrible. Why does his mom have to tell him when he's dying? She should've just let him enjoy life and wait a while before she revealed the truth.

I feel so sorry for Malcolm. I dunno how, but even though you've made so many bad things happen to him, instead of it being unrealistic it's just really sad. Update soon!

i found the paternity test to be a little bit too much considering all of the other crap Malcolm is going through in his life but then again, that's probably your intention. Damn you're too good! By the end, i was hanging onto every single word and i was hoping that Malcolm wouldn't let his guard down during the phone conversation. Octavia has been quite the disappointment. Update as soon as possible please!
