I love this. It was full of visual imagery. That last line cracks me up ("No, the sakura didn't drown..."). Beautifully done.

| Manuel Fajar chapter 1 . 3/16/2005
Black cherry branch floats,
Rushing in Spring water's flood,
Destiny at sea,—
But each pink bud ferried out,
Was a seed that ne'er fulfilled.
| falconstrife86 chapter 1 . 2/9/2005
Hmm... I definitely like this, but the format is a little off. It may have been better to write it in three haikus that tell one story. Other than that I liked it.

This is so lovely, Zainab. I don't really have anything specific to say about it, just that it's lovely and conjures a really pretty image in my mind.
