What a romantic piece; I love the imagery and how you entwined nature with elements from a fantasy/fairytale. I've always wanted to write a sestina, but alas, the format frustrates, not to mention confuses, me. But you pulled it off so incredibly well. I'm envious. P

Sorry. It's just that, what can I say about something so marvellous? It's sad, interesting, romantic, and mysterious all at the same time. And it has squirrels.

The storyline, the skilled use of repetition repetition (heh heh), and of course the lush language, all make this an exceptional piece of writing. I can't wait to see more!
