![]() ![]() ![]() Tehehehehehehehehehe! Aye, that was damned fun. I loved my Butterbeer. ::laughs:: Yes, we spent the night more or less like normal teenage girls...until he got silly... Hehehehehehe. That was much funnier having it redtold. Whe, you are groovy. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Think yourself lucky you didn't spend several weeks this winter going completely nuts about a possible re-release of a 25-year-old film that turned out to be a complete red herring... (Yes, the one with rabbits. Somehow I doubt you're surprised.) Mind you, my local independent bookshop had sold 200 copies by 2am, so they must have been on to something. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, my name's Logan, and I've never read any Harry Potter books. Or seen the films. *looks up to find that the whole audience has fainted* ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm patiently waiting for my library to get the new book. I went the other day and the damn librarian said they bought fourteen Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix books but they were all out already. Knowing people, they'll probably keep the book as long as they can have it which is like 3 weeks. Yeah. I read a couple of spoilers. There's supposedly a major death in this book. I just hope J.K. Rowling DOES not kill off Ginny Weasley. She's my favorite character. I think it's either Hagrid or Sirius BLack(both of whom I hate). |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was in a Harry-potter style chat room and I was counting down the hours and minutes until the release on the 20th June! I was competing against someone else to be the first to say the time left! In the end, people got so bored of the messages being: so-and-so:blah, blah, blah Me: 7 hours, 9 minutes! so-and-so:blah blah blah so-and-so2: really? Me: 7 hours, 8 minutes! that they asked us to stop! We just continued by whispering to each other! |
![]() ![]() Harry Potter obsessiveness. Something that can be very catchy. When I started reading books the media aspect of them had barely begun. I had found my sister reading them, my mother buying them for summer reading since we had finished all our other books. I picked up the first book and began to read. I loved it and reached Azkban I was to enchanted by the book to realize that crazy people wanted the books banned for some reason and that my 11 birthday had just passed (sometimes I believe that they didn't send me my letter because the muggles might have caught on to a fact that there was a Hogwarts _) Sadly none of my friends are obsessive so I am forced to take comfort by talking to my sister and the internet. Finnaly the wait it over, the Order of the Pheonix is here (It was over to quickly, I finished it in a day when I got it at the midnight party and read for the rest of the day. I fell asleep for 15 min. because I was so tired.). Hope to see more soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I LOVE Harry Potter! Great essay! Kudo points to the Harry fan! |
![]() ![]() ![]() From one confirmed fanatic to another: and we all know Ravenclaw's the best :) Keep writing; this chapter was very good. I like the way you handle the humor in your writing; there's just enough, but we're not hit over the head with it. Irony, too, which I like. Keep up the good work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was very entertaining. I love your style of writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That is just what happened to me. I wouldn't go near the books for at least two years after my family had read them and stoped babbling about them all the time. And then I finaly picked one up. Needless to say I am addicted (I even went to a Harry Potter themed party with a few of my friends before the order of the phoenix came out). I really like your essay, I think the next chapter should be about the people who think it is satanic. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heh, I understand you completely. I went from being totally against the series to obsessed, as well. -Belle |
![]() ![]() ![]() ::squeals with mad ballet laughter:: That made me squeak and giggle. The funny part is I know which girl said with thing...::cheers for Michelle and Alan Rickman:: That was groovy. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yep, I'm addicted as well! I borrowed the first two books from one of my friends, then the third one when it came out, then the fourth one. Last christmas I got the boxed set and have read them all millions of times! Hmm, the next chapter? The satanic people! :-p |
![]() ![]() Thought it was funny - could see "you" up there standing in front of the group saying all this. Want more |
![]() ![]() ![]() . Hee-hee-hee! Truly marvelous, darling. Very fun to read when one is tired and depressed. Excellent perker-upper. Better than cappuccino. |
