Reviews for Empty Pockets |

![]() ![]() ![]() hahaha lol i thought it was one of those electronic preachers type emptying-pockets, like cheating you and swindleing |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the imagery you use to get your points across! It is so good! I don't think I will ever think about emptying my pockets the same way for a while anyway! Also a good reminder to give everything to God- He can help us through it and is always there :) Keep writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was very touching and has stengthened my faith a bit. Thank you and please keep writing. -Seras |
![]() ![]() ![]() *snort*Ok, I don't agree with this at all, and if I had known what it was i wouldn't have read it. See, i was thinking more about how God always needs your money when I read the title. *heh heh* Sorry. But it's a well-written poem, if you go for that sorta thing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Is amazed. That has got to be one of the best poems I've read in awhile. I really liked it. : ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lemme empty your pockets ... for $50 or less |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's touching... ::sniff:: |
![]() ![]() ![]() *knowing smile* Yes, I can really relate to this one... He is strong enough to take it away, and He is loving enough to give you His strength and to guide you without access worries... Beautiful. m~* Sunflower, anyone? |
![]() ![]() yes I must admit that you nearly made me cry. God is going to use you in extraordinary ways! Just in writing you are being a huge witness for our savior. Being a strong believer myself, it's relly relieving to see someone so strong in Christ in our messed up world! Please keep going! You really make me think. Hey, maybe I'll post some of my poems! Don't ever get discouraged! You have been a huge inspiration to me and I'm sure many others! Keep reaching our world for Christ! God Bless! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent. This truly is the best way & I pray every night that He will take it all from me & guide me. |
![]() ![]() ![]() *applauds* This is really beautiful. It reads almost like an older hymn, and the sentiment it expresses is perfect. I am not a Christian myself, but I don't need to be to appreciate the feeling behind this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() First of all, I'd like to say, this is really really really inspirational! I don't QUITE believe in God yet, I'm sorta wavering, fake-near-death got me sorta, ya know, more woken up about that, but, I mean, wow. GOOD JOB! I'm so proud of you! :) Second of all, I'd like to thank you for all of your support. I'm sort of strangely proud that you'd take the time to read most of my stuff on here. Thank you so much :) I really, really love your writing. I'm sorry if I don't always take the time to put reviews, but I always read it. I'm gonna put you on Author Alert, 'cause you got ALOT of stuff! Great job, huni, once again. Stay inspired babez! Always, -KaT- |
![]() ![]() ![]() You have a wonderful talent. I cant wait to read more. :o) |
![]() ![]() ![]() This poem is so cool. You did an awesome job with the message. Do keep writing. -Euro- |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved this poem, especially the metaphor of carrying both pride and pain in "pockets." It seems obvious that one shouldn't be so proud... but it is rarely said that one should also empty his pockets of needless burdens. I'm going to keep this poem in mind... |
