J'Adore Les Phoques chapter 6 . 1/29/2006 This is awesome. I laughed out loud. That doesn't happen a lot. Why did no one think of this sooner? |
ode to a firefly chapter 41 . 12/10/2005 Oh, simply brilliant! :) ~Christine~ |
Abigail Radle chapter 36 . 10/25/2005 (Since you've come this far, why not suggest something for me tointellectualize? I'm starting to run out of ideas here) Ah... You could go old school and attempt an intellectualized version of Run DMC and Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" *LOL* Hey, you did one of theirs already :) |
Abigail Radle chapter 1 . 10/25/2005 Ah... I stumbled upon this purely by chance, and now I find myself wondering whether you have actually shared these intellectual interpretations (or shall we call them translations?) with any English professors lacking the cultural capacity to actually comprehend them in their natural ... uh ... state? *lol* Eminem is actually one of my favorite musicians. Not because he's abrasive or offensive, but because he is emotional and expressive while still maintaining a reservation of his true self - he is not afraid to rage against the machinations of society and culture, and he does it with the only artistry he was ever truly taught to wield, his tongue. Language is such a beautiful your interpretation only made me laugh and appreciate him even more - I still doubt whether that is actually your intention; however, I find it hard to believe that you could "translate" so many rap lyrics (I perused the chapter listing) and loathe it as a form of artistic release and expression. You've felt me with a number of thoughts to ponder. :) |

Irving F Ketthia chapter 1 . 1/9/2005 There are many new rap song out now, so you could easily bring this back to the top of the heap by "intellectualizing" another one. |
