Reviews for Journey of Eve |

![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome story... The intrigues of religion itself seem to be able to spawn from your reenactment of the first-ever human beings. Hope you have a Cane-and-Abel chapter waiting in it too. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is amazing. i'll tell all my friends about this one! even though i'm not religious, i still found this extremely good. stay funky. |
![]() ![]() this is excellent. i like how you're showing that knowledge brings pain, but also happiness, as when Eve tells Lucifer that she wouldn't go back. this reminds me of my own search into religion. the more i study and think, the harder it gets, but i would never go back to the blind faith i was practicing. knowledge is hard, frustrating, and painful, but so worth it. anyway, i like how you're incorporating a feminine aspect of god (i read somewhere that in certain jewish traditions, yahweh had a female consort). i hope this comes out of hibernation soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow! this is amazing. now, i think that the original sin was in fact the original blessing because it allowed us to know good and evil. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OHMYGOD! children of eden is the best show...woah i just had to say that. and i love this story... |
![]() ![]() Very good. Who knows maybe that is what happened. I enjoyed reading it. I have a couple of stories I'm working on that use people from the bible. Thanks for the enjoyable read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story! I love the way you depicted Adam and Eve. It sounds similar to Mark Twain's writings. I also remember illustrations from the Brick Testament. It's at .com. Please update. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is *so* well-written, Cass! :) Having never read the Bible, I've not the faintest clue about how it all really does work out, and I must say - I do like your interpretation. :-) This is lovely. (Or, as some may say "loverly") ~Swinging from the chandeliers~ |
![]() ![]() ![]() Will you please update! For the sake of your 18 reviewers? Please? I used too many es. Well, I really like this story so far. It's interesting how he considered Eve his sister before he ate the fruit. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a beautiful story. *claps hands*. I always disliked how they made Eve seem like the one who did all the harm, and Adam seem like the poor guy tempted by the evil woman. Very good:) |
![]() ![]() ![]() that was very pretty. while i'm definitely a religious person, i don't belive in the creation myth. i think it's just a story to help people understand the world around them. good job. i thought the altenative way you portrayed lucifer was interesting. |
![]() ![]() I really enjoy this interpretation of the story. The characterization is great; Adam's rapport with the dog and Eve's with the cat are wonderful details to throw in. Although I must admit I don't much like the 'he was built for strength, she for softness' line, but that's just my personal taste. Other than that, it's amazing. Keep going! |
![]() ![]() I must confess, this is by far one of the most creative and intruiging interpretations of Genesis i have ever read. You should publish it. i honestly found no mistakes, contradictions, or porblems with this story. i am thinking about writing a series of books on traditional Bible stories from an unusual point of view (for example, the story of Moses through the eyes of his adoptive mother)and i must say you have inspired me. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, what will mother and father say lol? its very good. Very real... |
![]() ![]() ![]() A nice intresting re-write, i like the description its deep and touching. |
