Wonderful poem. Yes, and the message is so true. The other side of the coin, once somebody is through issues like this, they have such a heart for others with the same problems. One day, with the help of God, you will be free from self-harm, you will have your scars as a testimony, as a credential, as a badge of triumph, and you will be an immense blessing to others with the same wounds. I have seen this happen in areas of my life, actually exactly the three areas you mention in your poem "Slice me up", and even though I am vulnerable to the temptation of self-harm again at the moment, I am still convinced of ehat I say in my poem "Scar-Marked Heart".

ooh,I'm glad you stopped cutting yourself. It makes me so sad when I see people who cause themselves pain.
