I really like this story... it has to be my favorite of the whole series thus far. I think it might because Lila, the heroine, is given the stronger role. Not that Cole is a weakling or anything, lol, but Lila's the trained killer, the one who played him in the start. Of course, I hope the epilogue will show that she isn't in fact dead. I like her too much to be happy with you if you killed her off. :( But anyway, I thought I'd let you know how much I'm enjoying your story. I was supposed to tell you after the last chapter (which is when I first stumbled across the story), but I was so lazy you actually beat me with the update.

it was great, adn i'm running out of things to say other than that. well it was suspenceful and sad and happy and i absolutely loved it! you write so..beautifully it makes me wish that I could write like that. you make me want to be a better person at what i do! not i'm crying in happiness and thinking that mayeb i really shoudln't be bothering the nice person with all this jargon. but please go. do what you do, well i'm not sure if you do it best but, and just go!

Nial was so damned cocky in this chapter that he couldn't possibly live even if everyone else turned out to love him. Yes, Nial's hubris has me disappointed in him, but I did love your brilliant twist. Killed by his mother. Cole and Lila's story may not be a Greek Tragedy, but Nial's is and I don't know if that fact has me liking him again or not. I still loved all of his escapades though. No amount of arrogance can wipe away my fascination with those )

Oh... that's so sad! Barbara is a little off her rocker... Danny/Nial is a little mental too.
Beautifully written chapter. Had me clinging to the edge of my seat the entire time. I really hope that you update soon. Because it's inhumane to leave a cliffhanger like this one. Just inhumane.
