Someone told you that you deserved to die? Aren't these so-called christians just wonderful? No one has the right to say those horrible things to you. Your essay tells me that you're a better person than a thousand of those people combined. I hope you continue to stand up for what you believe in against these ignorant people.

I'm a Christian.

I'm not ashamed of it. I'm PROUD of it.

But I am ashamed of those who profess Christian love for all and then profess hatred for those that are different. It's completely valid, and not fake.

If your religion leads you to be a better person, you have found the One ~ with a different face, but still the One.

Only those who commit evil unrepentantly go to hell. And since you sure don't seem to be that kind of person to me, I doubt you're going anywhere near there.

Be free. Be safe. Be glad. And tell those people that label themselves "Christians" that they're dead WRONG.

And don't worry; seek out and hang onto friends who are like-minded, and remember it'll be much better once high school's over and done with.
