Reviews for I Told You So
Noone35 chapter 1 . 7/6/2014
I haven't discovered a good read in quite a while-too obsessed over my OWN work, perhaps.

This was a good story. Not too blunt, not to slow. It was able to slide the reader through a life it could metaphorically live and subject it to the emotional twists as well.

What I wouldn't give to have the tragedy be someone else's true tale. Although similar situations occur for people all the TIME, I refuse to wonder if this story could be based on something personal.

I don't usually get swayed emotionally by short stories, but this one held a definite tug in that direction. Good work.

It was a very heartwarming piece. they always say that children are more attached to their mums. There is a song in mandarin about mothers. "Mothers everywhere in the world are all the same".

I don't know much about medical stuff but breast cancer can transition into brain cancer? I didn't know that.

Very nicely done and I enjoyed this story makes me want to treasure my mum even more.

One more thing, viet nam is called Vietnam

Wow, Amy! Thank you for sharing with me. I couldn't imagine losing a loved one, especially a mother. Yet, with your words, I can imagine the pain and loss you went through. Your mother must have been an amazing woman to raise such a great woman!
