i love how she says "Mutt Lord" in reference to Daelan. I love the way she futilely tried to sward him off. Even if it were a wee bit too fast for her to fall, I understood the character because it's like.. having emotions for the first time after the drought. And so many things had happened..

Hmm... But this story needs more depth? Like, I like the plot but I want more developing stuff between Daelan and Laralaine. Suggestion: when Daelan asked her to go with him, she could've reasoned out that the only reason she did go was because he was the only one who can protect him. But then.. at the end, there's a hint that it's not all that and her subconscious knows it even if she denies it. Also, you can develop Laralaine's surprise, actions and baby steps to the novelty of loving someone and having someone loving her. Also, the Diego thing, you could have exploited more. Maybe you could have had him team up with the demon. So it would be more exciting. I even half-expected Ronan to have some incestual love for her. I'm not a fan of incest but I dunno, maybe you didn't explain why he was so adamant that she be with the selkies? Like.. explain more about the kinship between them to erase my doubts? :D

Hm... and there was a couple of loose ends.. like Daelan not really expressing what he felt about his father.. and stuff like that.

but really, I really liked this fic. I loved those emo lines... I never said that. I didn't say I love you. or something like that. eh, basta, my heart was also wrenched. lol. I devoured the fluffiness between the two characters. i liked the "will you bleed?" line. So.. angsty but brilliant. You could also play up daelan's powers.. like make him show off or soemthing like that. :)) Maybe you can develop the other characters as well.. like, maybe you can have laralaine catch daelan's mother crying for his dad. you know, simple stuff like that that gives more meaning.. so it won't be focused too much on the main characters... AND I WASN'T SATISFIED WITH THE EPILOGUE. i want more fluffiness dammit. :))

I hope you continue to improve as a writer and dazzle us with your works. I hope you don't take my criticism and suggestions too badly. :)

WOHO! I love your books, they are just so wonderful! Great job, this one was the thirs book I read of yours and its just what I like, fantasy and romance! Plus it was totally clean, WHICH I LOVE!
