![]() ![]() It all sounndz so right...and i wanna beat the "9 to 5" routine too...pity i dont really know how to go about it or where my lifez goin...herez hopin you've beaten THE MONSTER yourself! :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I admire that someone else does not want the normal "9 to 5" job. You do know what a cubicle is, don't you? A 3-walled prison. I'll end up spending a lot of time in school, because of my dream of being a psychologist for youth. I still wonder if that may even be too mudane for me. You seem to be a lot like my friends and I - you can't do "routine". Good luck. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The thought of a nine to five job is just utterly horrible... I'm probably going to be a high school history teacher myself, hoping to make some amount of change in the world by educating the youth, not just shoveling facts down their throats. I'm also hoping this gives me enough time on my hands to keep a band going at least over the weekends, as my true love is music. Best of luck to you, may we all beat the cubicle. ~Kaz |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've never thought of college that way.I'm glad you brought it up...It stinks how everyone only lives for the job but nothing else...good luck in college, and thank you for enlightening a confused little girl. Keep Writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Work to live, don't live to work. I have no intention of getting trapped in a dreary job. I may well wind up the stereotypical starving artist, but I consider that better than sacrificing my soul to the mundane toil of a boring existence. Nice essay. Lots of personal touches thrown in, which made the piece come alive. |
