Bram... and Toni. omg! surprisingly i didn't mind at all. i'm glad that Toni had a good time. i reread the whole story and as soon as i was finishing the last chapter you had put up you updated. YAY! i love it when you update! then chapters are huge! this is probably my favorite story on fictionpress. awesome work!

i guess this means either that she will become a vamp soon, or that her relations with keir (which has been raising a bit lately, i think) will turn sour again... personally i hope for the former.i can't wait

Go... go get this published. It's excellent; you ensnared me on the preface! How many people can say they hooked a reader this early in the story? Your language is exquisite, and the fluidity you use your words with is that of a master. I applaud you, and I look forward to reading the rest of “Leaving the Light”

another great chaper. i was so happy to see that you had updated. dang i find myself on the edge of my seat everytime you update. :D update as soon as you can.

I'm completly obsessed w/ your story. The dark circles from staying up all night is evident of that. LOL It's just everything is so realistic and so intriguing... I get compleltly entranced by the characters and the plot. I want to know why some of the characters are the way they are and why they act the way they do. And what's with the dreams and voice and Velran. I get frustrated that the answers don't come right away but I like feeling frustrated it keeps me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what's going on and why? I'm shocked this story is so entrancing to me cause I normally don't like to read vampire stories. I do love fantasy and I do have a slight addiction to darker fiction, but what really got my attention was the length. I've never seen so long a story and I was so thrilled! NOrmally I just get to read 2 or maybe 3 chapters and then I have to wait MONTHS to get another one and then it's NEVER long enough. But here was something that was long enough to keep my impatience at check. I do hate waiting though. So please please PLEASE write more very very VERY soon. I know it's only been almost 2 months and all and that you like to write long chapters but I don't know how long I can wait before it kills me. Anywhoo... you really are doing a wonderful job, I wouldn't be surprised to find this at the book stores in a little while. I know it's hard writing chapter after chapter, heck I've been trying to write various stories for years and still have yet to even write the beginning. I admire those who do get something down and have enogh gut to post it and then continue it. I hope eventually I can write as easily and hopefully half as good as the authors of my favorite stories.

I think it's a really interesting concept that the apocalypse is in fact when we reach a sort of perfection. Do the kids just get taught by computers too or are they implanted with some sort of microchip at birth that just gives them all the knowledge? (Hahaha, yeah, I know that this isn't important to the story at all, just something that I'm wondering.) I'm really liking this story so far.

There's a reason why Leaving the Light is of my favorites on FictionPress. There's not too many stories I can come back to after a long hiatus that can hook me in again with the latest chapter. Have to admit I didn't go back and read the chapters I missed, but I was able to get the gist of things regardless. Toni has got to be the most tortured character I've ever come across, what hasn't she endured? As much as I would have liked to see her get away from the vampires and get to London, I think she's back where she belongs. Can't wait for the next chapter.
