Kawaii, Kawaii! . I'm thoroughly enjoying it thus far. Usually with this sort of pacing I might be put off, for it is all rather abrupt like you said. But its done rather well in my opinion and so I love it, though of course I am just a helpless fangirl and with the Japanese culture and themes makes it even more yummy for me. (Yummy?) I did at chapter nine I think find it hard for me to visualize Ryan or is Ri-an now? Hehe anyway found it hard to see him as a boy, I kept thinking girl and felt bad. I knew but I kept picturing a formal female kimono with obi and all. But I assume he was probably wearing a male's fomral kimono haha or something. Anyway keep it up, I want to know what happens! _

I'm glad you've found time to write more to this story; it's a very original idea for a story. I like how you've managed to incorporate Japanese tradition (I'm assuming it's Japanese tradition anyway) into this story rather than skirting around it. It makes the story much more enjoyable to read.

story, I've never read anything like that. It sort of reminds me of a Japanese anime, the way that they move, the traditions etc. You got them quite well but I have to say I'm quite ashame cos i can't even read my native language. Chinese, argh.
