|Reviews for Why do you Hide from Me?|
| Ephemeral Dreams chapter 1 . 10/31/2003
Hmm...not sure what I can say to this. But here's my own interpretation.
Wondering and wistful,
A child on the edge of two worlds,
That of childhood and that of adulthood,
Still enraptured by the joy of life,
Knowing much, yet innocent and naïve.
Looking out a window
Wishing you were here,
Sharing this moment with me,
I wonder where you are now,
What you’re doing this moment,
Are you thinking of me?
One day we will meet,
Perhaps by chance or destiny,
Or by some twist of fate.
Someday I’ll see your face,
Hear your words; feel your touch.
And when that time comes,
I will follow you anywhere,
Knowing that you are mine,
Struggling through life together,
Sharing a friendship and love profound.
Listen to my heart’s beat,
Steady and soft,
The rhythm of life itself.
And we shall dance to it,
Until two hearts become one.
You have taken my heart,
My nameless, faceless love.
I do not know what you are like,
Nor who you are,
Or indeed, if we have already met.
Have patience and hold on to your dreams,
Reach out for what you want,
For one day the time will come.
Whether in this life or another,
We have an eternity to find each other.
Then two paths will cross,
Sharing, together, for the time given us.
And somehow, someway,
We will no longer walk this earth alone.
So do you agree? Disagree? Lol, I wrote this 7-31-02 so it's pretty childish.

A sense of trust as well, that you would fall for someone you aren't even sure is real.
I love your concepts!

Interesting. I'll say the same thing you said to me about "Glass". The chaos reflects the mood of the poem, and the word choice does the same.
"Easy come, easy go."
