Reviews for Angels of Broken Wings |

![]() ![]() ![]() This kind of reminds me of a poem I once saw in a book. It goes like this: Whenever she is raging She takes life away. Haven't you seen, Haven't you seen, The ruins of our world...? ...Kind of. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ths is pretty deep. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging, but I'm a Moonie, so better liked being called Unificationists. I guess you can get a lot of answers through my religion, only if you choose to believe them. I'm a type of Christian that doesn't believe in the cross. Well, if I go on, I'll never end, but if you have questions you can email me. Man, here I go with witnessing! VV'... Very good poem, positively breath taking, good luck and keep up the good work! Laterz. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow... this is awesome! I actually am a [closet] Wiccan, (my parents don't exactly like it...) and I've wondered these things myself sometimes. So which religion did you finally choose? |
![]() ![]() true... many people die for no reason, but I believe God has a plan, a plan for all of us. afterall, God only 'guides' us not 'do' the things for us, so basically it is not God's fault, but man's... |
![]() ![]() ![]() aww.. i love the way this poem built up, and the last lines: "You deserve angels With bloody tears And broken wings." i love how it ties in with the rest of the poem, its just a great way to end it. Personally, i am not quite faithless, (i'm sikh, but not really... i prefer to call it me-ism...?)but i do have my questions about faith and beliefs, i cant just accept something.. Keep it up! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Krikois, i fully agree with this. if there truely is a God why does He let these young children DIE? if He cares so much for his Children why does He let be beaten, killed and worse? I strayed long ago for the path of Christianity, where "Jesus Saves" and "God Heals all wounds". But this is something for those who still belive to think about, ya know? |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW O.O that's lovely i especially loved the ending ::sighs:: soo lovely i'm rather inclined to agree with you too... |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is excellent. I too have questioned g-d and my judaism. This is very accurate and I just really enjoyed it. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() finally a poetry that MAKES SENSE! good job. thanks for the review :-) but that poem is real good, duuh, you know that. do you? how true, i've always wondered what the heck god is trying to do by butchering small people. tellme more, girl. tell me more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Humans are so narrow-minded. We only see what's right in front of us. It's true that people hurt and people die, for no reason at all. And it's not fair. But I believe that there is a reason for everything. It's not easy to say that and believe it, because as a human myself I don't see the connection between lots of things. But I have found a few examples from history, that in retrospect, we can see that some of the greatest tragedies led to the greatest triumphs. It's only a small glimpse of what we don't understand- people during the time of tragedy could not understand how God could do this to them, or how things could possibly get better. How would they know that the tragedy would lead to the triumph? They might guess, they might have a far-fetched hope, but they can't know. Okay. I will now officially shut up. I talk way too much. Check out my "Signs", if you want a little more on what I think of God... Good job, anyway... m~* Sunflower, anyone? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw... True, very true. I'm only Catholic, because I was raised Catholic. Plain and simple. And these are questions I ask myself repeatedly. If you actually want me (the philosopher... right) to guess at the answer to your numerous questions... It would have to be free will. We choose to beat children and kill them... not God. My tid bit of rambling. Sorry, I'll shut up. Great poem though. _ Much love, Megan the MoonLitDemon |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw, cool! You were Wiccan? Are you still, now! I am. Tee hee hee... Anyway, loved the poem! Submit this into a contest, or even try to get it published. I'm sure it'll win. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A faith unquestioned is a weak faith. Whichever belief system you eventually chose, all that matters is that it best fits your soul. Nice poem. Very personal, which lent it a certain power. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You're Wiccan? That's cool, but anyway... This fic was breathtaking. I sometimes wonder things like that, too. It's not a very happy world we live in at oftentimes. |
