| Joewhatever chapter 1 . 8/7/2005
i can't quite put my finger on this, but it was quite well done and lovely and whatnot. the insertion of the checkerboard, the focus on the game, the moving of the black piece across the board, the coffee- all of these little details combine and really help to set a mood... all in all, it seems very somber and just.. yeah. lovely. i'm babbling now, so.. whatever. it was a wonderful poem and i enjoyed it.
| i was a postcard chapter 1 . 2/22/2005
The thoughts of leaving and the images of the checker game colliding like that, just genius. I really don't know what to say.
