Wow... *stares at the screen* ...wow... That was... amazing... It's not very often you read a poem with this much symbolism... I knew exactly what was happening, yet at the same time, I didn't. I wanted to cry, yet I wanted to laugh. This made my eyes water, which since I haven't cried in 2 years, is pretty increadible... It was that powerful... I love how you were talking about 'it' but you didn't say who 'it' is. Then later you explain that 'it' is just the other people in life. Another awesome part was the stanza: "I showed him my painting,/And that’s when it started happening…/Again." Putting the 'again' in it's own line made it very impacting. Like this has happened so many times before. And showing the painting is a call for help, that no one responds to. I also loved the part about the rain. How the rain washed off the color. Like... no matter how happy something can make you, it can be taken away in seconds. I love the way you repeated the line "While I was walking down this street one day." Because it's made it seem like life is never ending, and you're always walking down the same old street of sadness. Ok, now that I've analyzed this to death I'm just going to leave this saying: ...beautiful...

Long poem. I can't say I understand it exactly, but it's good with its symbolism.

Wow! This seemed on the surface such a simple read, a very easy read, but it's depth of it ran so deep! Impressive! A light message, that tells so much! Well done!
