Beautiful and touching. The soft, tender tone encompasses both the grief of the mourners and the compassion of the speaker. Lovely job.

After reading your religious spree (_) this was a new idea. All very very good. You are such a good poet! I have trouble with free verse, myself. Keep writing, if biking is an inspiration! (It's one for me too...one of those "pondering activities" as I call them, along with knitting, showering, and thinking right before you fall asleep). *sigh* You're such a good writer! *works diligently on story*...as if...
