This reminds me a bit of "Altered States", although there's no real connection between it. Anywho, I'm really interested in how the story will turn out. It has me hooked on how the amnesia will control the story.

Some grammatical things you need to check on, but I like the way introduced the concept here in this chapter. You may want to credit the William Hazlitt quote. Nice way to end this chapter, all in all, good work, dude. Look forward to seeing where this goes
