aspenjerome chapter 1 . 12/23/2003
Oh I like, I like. I've always felt that postmodern poets (and I am not much a poet at all unless the mood hits me hard) started becoming incoherent in an effort to sidestep the need to revise and rethink their poetry to match up with the modern masters (Eliot, Pound, Plath even). This poem, while a rip, sufficiently sums up how wrapped up modern poetry is in being about its subject and nothing more.

Hey, you reviewed mine, so I'm reviewing yours! I really like this one. I like the fact that it didn't rhyme and it flowed evenly. i also like your vocabulary and metaphors. Overall, very well put together.
