hm... stately oak trees... does this have a hidden meaning? lmao. this poem is very good. it kind of reflects life, cause there's no where you can be safe in the shadows. only in the light can you find security.

I'm sure I missed some of the meaning intended to this piece... The 'grey' kinda made me think of how life isn't black and white to many people... and how grey kinda can be indifference... not making a choice, but not realizing that, that in itself is a choice. How we are blinded through indifference... obviously, that is probably not what you meant at all, but that's what came to mind *shrugs*
