You are right that it is hard to be black in this country and that a black man can date a white woman but not the other way around. That is the same message I am trying to convey in my story. I enjoyed the part where brian ask Katrina if she likes rap and how you showed that how wrong it is too assume someone is a certain type of way because of their skin color. I also liked how you should black people can be prejudiced too. It was entertaining how Brian talked about not wanting ghetto names for their kids, I think it is good that they could laugh about their cultural differences. It was a great story and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I saw a lot of myself and my experiences in it and it felt good to know i wasn't the only one who has experienced this. I want to thank you for that. |
